Clinical Capabilities

Services Chosen to Support Better, More Connected Care

PCP evaluates each potential service in the context of the practice, patient population, workflow, and partnership model. Technology is not the starting point. Clinical and operational fit is.

Autonomic Nervous System Testing

ANS testing can provide additional clinical insight for appropriate patients when autonomic dysfunction may be contributing to symptoms or conditions such as:

  • Autonomic neuropathy
  • Cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction
  • Small fiber neuropathy
  • Other autonomic nerve disorders

Bringing this capability into the practice can support a more coordinated evaluation process and help keep care connected to the physician who knows the patient best.

Sudomotor Testing

Sudomotor testing evaluates sweat gland function and may help support the earlier evaluation of small fiber nerve damage and related conditions, including:

  • Early diabetic neuropathy
  • Peripheral nerve dysfunction
  • Sweat gland dysfunction

Computerized Cognitive Assessment

Computerized cognitive assessment can provide objective information to support earlier conversations, further evaluation, and personalized care planning for appropriate patients. Potential applications include:

  • Mild cognitive impairment
  • Dementia screening
  • Concussion assessment
  • Alzheimer’s disease evaluation

Roadmap

Current and Future Offerings

PCP continues to expand its ancillary-service capabilities as patient needs and clinical technologies evolve. Offerings may include:

  • Ankle-brachial index testing
  • Electrocardiograms
  • Allergy testing
  • AI-assisted retinal screening
  • Quantitative EEG

Service availability and appropriateness depend on the practice, patient population, clinical workflow, applicable requirements, and partnership evaluation.

This information is general and is not medical advice. Service availability, clinical use, and appropriateness vary by practice and patient and remain subject to evaluation by licensed healthcare professionals and applicable requirements.
